Production is carried out in the historic Monza plant, on an 18,000-square-metre surface area, and it includes a wide range of coated abrasives with cloth, paper and vulcanized fibre backing.
In TAF’s laboratory, all the raw materials used for production are rigorously tested initially and then controlled during the production process.
TAF ABRASIVI also performs sample inspections on all finished products before they are placed on the market. Tests are conducted according to most severe parameters to guarantee that the products shipped to the customers are totally safe and reliable, also in the case of particularly heavy duty applications.
Following the quality controls, finished products are stored in a spacious warehouse fitted out with a climatisation system that constantly controls temperature and humidity.
Today TAF ABRASIVI has a Quality System that was certified for the first time in 1996 according to the ISO 9002 Standards, and it has afterwards evolved up to the current 2015 edition of the ISO 9001 Standard.
All TAF ABRASIVI products also comply with the requirements of the European EN 13743 Regulations regarding coated abrasives, EN 12413 for bonded abrasives and EN 13236 for super abrasives.
